Osun State Governor, Sen. Ademola Adeleke has distributed free medical equipment to the Osun Health Insurance Scheme (OHIS) and accredited government owned hospitals in the State.

The Governor also presented corrective eye glasses and essential medications to no fewer than 42,000 students across public Secondary and Primary schools in the State.

Speaking at the event, Governor Ademola Adeleke said the distribution of medical equipments to some selected hospitals in the State is critical to improving healthcare of Osun residents.

He said his administration seeks to bring relief and comfort to students of public Primary and Secondary schools by providing them with free eye glasses, stressing that many students perform poorly in schools, not because they are not intelligent but because they have problems with their sights.
