Osun State Security Council has met again to review and draft new service wide security measures to protect lives and properties from local and external threats.
The meeting attended by all service commanders was presided over by the Deputy Governor, Prince Kola Adewusi with far reaching conclusions on measures to further secure the state from infiltration by bandits and domestic criminals.
The Deputy Governor conveyed the commendation of Governor Adeleke to the service commanders and expressed optimism that the ongoing security plan will strengthen the security and safety of Osun people.
The meeting urged the public to deepen partnership with security agencies by sharing information and reporting any suspicious developments in their areas.
Meanwhile, Governor Adeleke has warned against rising political violence in some parts of the state, directing the Commissioner of Police to take necessary action aimed at cointaing the tide.
