Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto, has approved the appointment of Abdulkadir Ahmed Mohamed as the new Head of the Civil Service of the state.
Abdulkadir Ahmed Mohamed replaces Sulaiman S. Fulani Ahmadu, who has retired from service.
The Governor also approved the appointment of the following officials’ special advisers- Umar Babuga Oro; Faruku Labbo; Zainab Umar Dasuki; and Kamaludden Abubakar Lemi.

Three new permanent Secretaries include:
Abubakar Mo’d Bello;
Kabiru Labaran; and
Dr. Sanusi Aliyu Binji;
Salihu Muh’d Galadanci(acting); and
Kasimu Abdulkadir Sadiq(acting).
The governor also named five new senior special assistants.
They are Bande Mohammed Rikina; Aliyu Mai Akwai;
Mohammed Sahab; Kabiru Mohammed Sani; and Bashiru Haliru Dogon Daji.
All the appointments take immediate effect.
