The Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, has charged Muslims in the country, to use the holy month of Ramadan, to pray for God’s intervention in the myriad of challenges currently facing Nation.
In a Ramadan message signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita, Ayade who said that the period called for sober reflection, also appealed for a peaceful coexistence of all Nigerians devoid of ethno-religious wranglings, saying God has a reason for bringing together peoples of diverse culture and religion to form a country.
Ayade expressed gratitude to the muslim community in the state for the unflinching support to his administration, stating that he was looking forward to when to break fast with them before the end of Ramadan.
