Governor Abubakar Bello of Niger State has charged Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the festival of sacrifice.
Bello gave the charge in a Sallah message to felicitate with fellow Muslims globally.
The celebration is to commemorate Prophet Ibrahim’s devotion and submission to the Almighty Allah.

According to a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mary Berje, the Governor reminded the faithful and humanity, of the need to make personal and collective sacrifices, to enhance common goals.
He reminded the people of the state of the need to be more security conscious, and feed security agencies with reliable information, to enhance their operations in the state.
