Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has presented a N1.055trillion naira budget proposal for the 2025 fiscal year before the State House of Assembly.
The governor during the presentation said the budget termed “Budget of hope and Prosperity”, is a blueprint for sustainable growth.
A breakdown of the budget proposal showed that the sum of 453.56billion naira will be going for recurrents while 600.98billion naira is marked for capital expenditure with personnel cost at 120.14billion naira and 37.49 billion naira as consolidated revenue cost.
Meanwhile, the governor has noted that the proposed 2025 budget, will be the sixth in the life of his administration.
