Security concerns continue to mount in the build-up to the November 11th Governorship election in Bayelsa state, particularly with the current unrests at Opu-Nembe community.
At the 120th executive council meeting of the current administration, Governor Douye Diri was represented by the Deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo who felt some unscrupulous elements were just bent on putting some parts of the state in disarray with a view to disorganizing election processes in those areas.
He sent a warning to community leaders, stressing that anyone who allowed his domain to be used for disruptive activities will not be spared by the law.
