The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has charged the Nigerian Army, to intensify and expand strategies, aimed at containing insecurity across the country.
Governor Emmanuel represented by his deputy, Moses Ekpo said this in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital, at the First Commanding Officers Workshop 2021.
With the theme Repositioning The Nigeria Army To Defeat Contemporary Adversaries In A Joint Environment, the Commanding Officers of the Army divisions in the Southern part of Nigeria, gathered in Uyo, to brainstorm on how to win the war against insecurity in the country.

The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru, who pointed out the timeliness of the workshop, charged the officers to rise to the challenge of containing insecurity across the Nation.
Earlier, the General Officer Commanding the 6 Division, Maj. Gen. Sani Mohammed, stated that the workshop was designed to boost the capacity of the officers.
The workshop hosted by the 6 Division, will last for a week.
