Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to people-focused infrastructure while inspecting the ongoing 33.5km Elele–Omoku Road.
The project, valued at about ₦81 billion, spans Ikwerre, Emohua, and Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Areas, serving as a key economic corridor in the state.

During the inspection, Governor Fubara expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work, noting that the dual carriageway will reduce travel time, enhance safety, and improve connectivity between rural communities and commercial centres.
