Gov Fubara Says Rivers Political Crisis Is About Who Controls State Resources

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has disclosed that the current political crisis rocking the state is all about the control of the state and its resources.

This is as he assures that he will continue to utilise the state’s resources judiciously for the betterment and overall interest of the people.

Governor Fubara made this known while addressing the congregation of Omega Power Ministries, otherwise known as OPM Worldwide, during the 51st birthday celebration of the General Overseer, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere.

The governor sues for continuous prayers from the church so that his administration will remain focused on achieving the purpose of governance.

The Rivers State Governor also commended the General Overseer of OPM Worldwide, Chibuzor Chinyere, for his philanthropic works and contribution to humanity.

He donated the sum of two hundred million naira to the church to support its ongoing infrastructure development projects.

Governor Fubara had earlier attended the birthday thanksgiving service of his deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu, at the Salvation Ministries in Port Harcourt.
