Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku has congratulated his Edo State counterpart, Governor Godwin Obaseki, and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on the victory at the September 19 Governorship Election in the state.
Governor Ishaku describes Obaseki’s re-election as an acknowledgement of the good job he has rendered in his first tenure.

Ishaku, in a press statement signed by his spokesman Bala Dan-Abu, commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, for providing a level playing field that led to the credible results, delivered in the election.
Governor Ishaku also congratulated Edo people on the peaceful and smooth conduct of the election, which he described as a disappointment to persons who predicted the election would be violent.
