Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari, has urged Nigerians to lay emphasis on issues that unite the nation rather than divisive tendencies.
Masari who was speaking when he received the new executives of the Indigenous Nigerians Resident In Katsina state condemned the prevailing division in Nigeria that distinguishes between indigenes and Non indigenes resident in a state.
The governor was also bestowed with the honour of Grand Patron of the group during the visit, which he accepted.
President of the Association, Kunle Awe called for the reallocation of landed properties of its members affected by the proposed Airforce Training School in the state which Governor Masari promised to re-examine.
