Outgoing Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari, has commissioned his two last sets of projects, before the May 29 hand-over date.
The two projects are a 6.5 billion Naira flyover, located at the Government Residential Area, GRA, Roundabout, and the Kofar Guga Sullubawa-Masanawa Road within the metropolis.
The commissioning of the flyover bridge at the Government Residential Area is the last official public outing of Governor Aminu Masari.

The project was awarded in May 2022 at the sum of 4 billion Naira but was later reviewed to 6 billion.
The essence of the project, according to Masari, is to decongest the area and save residents the time wasted during rush hours, and festive periods.
This is coming shortly after commissioning the 5.8 billion Naira underpass projects located at Kofar Kaura and Kofar Kwaya, within the metropolis, by President Buhari, on January 26, 2023, during his 2-day working visit to the state.
The project is also to serve the expected projected population growth of the state in the future, where the need to put up such will not be needed.
An elated resident and shop owner in the project area, Sagir Shuaibu, thanks the governor for the project, saying it will beautify the state capital and reduce congestion during occasions and celebrations.
Present at the commissioning were former Governor Ibrahim Shema, the two Emirs of Katsina, Abdulmumin Usman, and his Daura counterpart, Umar Farouq, as well as other dignitaries.
Shortly after commissioning the project, residents were seen in jubilation, while making use of the flyover.
The governor and his team thereafter proceeded to Kofar Guga, still within the metropolis, where he commissioned the Sullubawa-Masanawa Road.
