Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari has performed the ground-breaking ceremony of a 5.8 billion Naira Interchange Road Project, located at Kofar Kaura, in the metropolis.
Masari said the project is to be completed in 12 months, as 70 per cent of the contract sum has been paid to the contractor.

Kofar Kaura Roundabout in the metropolis is one of the busiest access road into the city.
Gov. Masari also warned the contractors to ensure quality job that will stand the test of time.

The Commissioner of Works, Housing And Transport, Tasi’u Dandagoro, said the 2-interchanges, among other road projects in the state, are aimed at alleviating the sufferings of motorists at the popular Kofar Kaura roundabout.
He added that, when completed, it will ensure that the unproductive time spent in the gridlock is checked.
The contractor handling the project, promised to deliver the job within the time frame, as well as do quality job.
The funds for the project is sourced from the Sukuk fund. .
