Obaseki noted that his administration has been committed to raising the bar in ensuring equal pay for the female team along their male counterparts to serve as motivation.
The Governor acknowledged that they have proven that the gesture was not a wrong one by putting up a good show at their first sub-continental championship.
He urged them to continue with the brilliant form and proceed to replicate their impressive feat at the CAF Women’s Champions League.
