Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has commissioned the state’s digital policy and data centre which is said to be the first in Nigeria, aimed at impacting on socioeconomic development and inclusive growth.
After the inauguration ceremony at the Government house in Benin City came the launch of a park and garden on Airport Road.
The centre will play a crucial role in enhancing digital transformation as well as creating job opportunities and aiding socioeconomic advancement.

In a related development, the Governor led eminent personalities to launch the state’s digital policy to guide the usage of technology based reforms put in place for the benefit of all especially the young generation.
The commissioned park and garden on Airport road in Benin City is one of the nine currently being set up by Obaseki’s government for recreational purposes.
