Governor Godwin Obaseki has charged Edo people to always promote unity, faith, love, respect and integrity in all their dealings.
The charge was given at his end of tenure Thanksgiving service, dedication and commissioning of the remodelled chapel in Government House, Benin City.
Governor Obaseki alongside members of the state executive council, other government officials, politicians and religious leaders gathered for its dedication.
The Archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Benin City, Augustine Akubeze gives the homily, with a call for the doors of the chapel to be open at all times and for it to be treated as a hallowed place.

He used the opportunity to commend Governor Obaseki for transforming the centre of worship and his commitment to the development of Edo State.
A thankful Obaseki attributes the inspiration behind the renovation of the government house chapel to his commitment to build a state on the foundation of God.
The service came to an end as worshippers led by the clergymen officially commissioned the chapel to the glory of God and man.
