Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has ordered for immediate assessment of the major causes of the explosion that claimed two lives, razed houses and other valuables worth millions of Naira at Ohoror Community in Ughelli North Local Government Area.
Governor Okowa who was conducted round the explosion site by the Chairman of Ughelli North Council Area Godwin Adode empathised with the community and assured that his administration will take proactive steps to cushion the effect of the fire on the victims.

He commended the state fire service for their reaction to contain the fire which has already razed over twenty houses.
According to eyewitness account, two trucks conveying gas and diesel rammed into each other at the Ohoror junction which triggered the explosion.
