Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has urged contractors across the State to work round the clock to ensure the timely completion of various road projects before the onset of the rainy season.

The Governor issued this directive during his routine inspection of several ongoing projects in Benin City, the State capital.

His visit included; the ongoing reconstruction of Ekennwan Road, Temboga Uteh Road, as well as the rehabilitation work on the Benin – Auchi Road near Obadan Junction, along side other key infrastructure projects initiated by his administration.

The Governor also visited; Palace Road at Uteh, which he had officially launched in December last year. He further inspected the ongoing construction work on Uteh Ekoko Road, where excavation of drains is currently underway.

Governor Okpebholo also checked the progress of work at his administration’s first flyover bridge project within Benin City, located at Ramat park, a project he had awarded early in his tenure.

Governor Okpebholo emphasized that his administration is committed to ensuring that the people of Edo felt the positive impacts of his leadership across all sectors, as outlined in his five-point agenda.
