The Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo has directed that Mmesomma Joy Ejikeme, be handed over to the State Guidance Counselor and Clinical Psychologists.
Soludo, in a letter to the Principal of Anglican Girls Secondary School Nnewi where the 19-year old girl is currently a student, further directed immediate psychological counseling and therapy session for Mmesoma.
In the letter signed by the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, the Governor said the directive follows one of the recommendations of the panel of inquiry constituted to investigate the matter.
After a rigorous back and forth with JAMB, Mmesoma finally admitted on Thursday, July 6, that she manipulated her results to 362 from the original score of 249.
Meanwhile JAMB has maintained that Umeh Kamsiyochukwu Nkechinyere of Deeper life high school has the highest score of 360 at the 2023 UTME
