Nasarawa State governor, Abdullahi Sule, says there is no rift between himself and his Kogi State counterpart, Yahaya Bello, as being speculated by both the mainstream and social media.

Governor Sule made the clarification in Lafia the state capital. While dismissing reports suggesting that disagreement ensued between him and Gov. Bello over the issue of direct primary election. The Nasarawa State governor said the topic of the direct or indirect primary was not even part of the agenda when the 22 APC governors met.

According to Sule if there will be any kind of argument between governors at such meetings, he will not be involved because he is seen as a peacemaker.

Governor Sule maintained that himself and the Kogi governor remain best of friends, stressing that there , will never be an argument between them.

Governor Sule therefore called on the public to disregard the reports in the mainstream and social media of any rift with governor Yahaya Bello as it was far from factual.
