Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel says investing in rural road infrastructure is to optimize the economic potential of rural communities by providing them with relevant infrastructure.
Governor Emmanuel said this at the commissioning of a 10.4 kilometers road in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

At the commissioning of the 10.4 kilometers Utu Ikot Ekpo – Ika road, Governor Emmanuel says it important to invest in rural infrastructure.
Commissioner For Works and Fire Service Professor Eno Ibanga also expressed joy on the completion of the project.

The Governor also inaugurated the remodelled Etim Ekpo General Hospital, making it the 20th of such interventions in health care.
