Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, South East Nigeria says his administration will continue to provide conducive learning environment in all institutions of higher learning in the state.
Ugwuanyi gave the assurance at the commissioning of multiple projects at the state-owned Institute of Management and Technology IMT Enugu.
Some of the projects included 15 ultra-modern classroom blocks with seating capacity of over one thousand two hundred students, modern offices with state of the arts facilities, academic staff office complex, and a medical center.
Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi explained that the intervention project became necessary to provide the needed infrastructural transformation at the instruction.
The governor tasked the management and staff of IMT to ensure effective use and maintenance of the new facilities.
In their separate goodwill messages, the Rector of the institution, Professor Austin Nweze, and the Chairman, Governing Council, Ifeoma Nwobodo appreciate the Governor for the gesture.
