Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi Wednesday, placed the State Commissioner Finance, Orlando Nweze on suspension over what he termed “dereliction of duty”.
A statement issued by the Secretary to the Ebonyi State Government, Kenneth Ugbala in Abakaliki contained the directive.
The Government did not give details of the offence committed by the suspended Commissioner.
Nweze was directed to handover all government property in his possession to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development before the close of work on Wednesday 15th June, 2022.
