Ebonyi state governor, Dave Umahi has called on the people of Ebonyi state to embrace 2021 with a sense of courage and unity of purpose to overcome their adversaries.
In his new year message to the people, Umahi described the first day of January 2021 as a time of hope, optimism and fresh possibilities.
Governor Dave Umahi said his administration worked assiduously to secure and sustain the peace, safety and security of lives and property across the state.
According to him, no incident of crime or road accident was recorded in the state during the yuletide.

The governor however said 2021 will be a busy year for his government to deliver critical infrastructures such as the Ebonyi International Airport, the Olympic Stadium, shopping mall, the Abakaliki Ring Road among other landmark projects for the use of the people.
He further reiterated that massive investments in education, infrastructure, qualitative healthcare and economic empowerment will remain key priorities of his administration in line with the projections in the 2021 budget.
