Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has called on Nigerians to make the right decisions that will shape the future of the country, noting that the nation is at a critical moment in its history.
Governor Uzodimma made the call in Owerri during the 15th edition of the Emeka Anyaoku Lecture Series on Good Governance.
He stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has demonstrated courage by embracing accountability, transparency, and structural reforms aimed at promoting the common good of the people
The governor added that the President’s leadership style reflects the ideals of elder statesman Emeka Anyaoku, whom he described as an epitome of good governance.
In his remarks, Emeka Anyaoku emphasized the need for strong institutions and responsible leadership as key drivers of national development.
The event themed “The Imperative of Good Governance in Nigeria” attracted prominent dignitaries from across the country, including former Governor of old Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo, who served as chairman of the occasion.
