Oil-producing communities in Imo State will soon enjoy access to good medical facilities.
Flagging off the rehabilitation of a twenty-bed hospital at Oguta and Ohaji local government areas of the state, Governor Hope Uzodinma said the government is poised to intervene in the critical health sector.

In recent times, Imo State Government has been showing more than passing interest in the health sector, especially as it affects the oil-producing areas of Oguta, Ohaji-Egbema, and Oru east.
Governor Hope Uzodimma is assuring that in less than one month, the Oil Producing Areas Development Commission will attend to the needs of the affected council areas.
For the residents, the projects will add value to the people, in view of the oil exploration and exploitation in the areas.
On completion of the projects, inhabitants will have access to quality health care, in addition to forestalling violent agitations.
