Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has inaugurated the State’s Pilgrims Welfare Board, as well as the Scholarship Board.

The inauguration of the Scholarship Board is seen as a major step by the government to improve the standard of education of the citizenry, while that of Pilgrims is expected to enhance the people’s faith in God.

According to the Governor, reviving the Scholarship Board will add value to the educational system and reduce the large number of school drop-outs, as a result of lack of funds and parental care.
