Sokoto State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, has warned civil servants against corruption, truancy and indiscipline, declaring that his administration will not tolerate misconduct in the public service.
Speaking during an Iftar with Permanent Secretaries, Directors-General and other senior officials, the Governor urged them to uphold transparency, accountability and strict compliance with civil service rules in the management of government affairs.

He also reminded the officials to reciprocate government’s commitment to workers’ welfare, including prompt payment of salaries, pensions and settlement of gratuity arrears, by remaining dedicated to duty and ensuring efficient service delivery across Ministries, Departments and Agencies.
