Government at all levels in Nigeria have been told to create an enabling environment for entrepreneurs to thrive in the country by supporting initiative programs that focuses on human capital development.

The Chief Executive Officer, Mentorship Hub Network, Don Engene, said this during a business seminar tagged “The Switch Conference” held in Àbuja.

The recent cut in oil price, inflation, high rate of unemployment and economic hardship have plunged the economies of most oil exporting countries including Nigerian into severe economic recession.

This has also forced many businesses owners out of the market.

Organisers of the switch conference in Abuja said such reasons informed their decision to equip young entrepreneurs with the skills and practical knowledge needed to start, grow and expand new and existing businesses.

The young entrepreneurs were advised to look beyond their challenges in order to become successful business owners.

The conference also featured the importance of networking and online visibility as necessary tools for business growth.
