Osun State Gov. Sen. Ademola Adeleke has received members of the APC in irewole local government area who recently defected to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party.
Gov. Adeleke said the latest defection has further depleted the camp of the APC, declaring that political heavyweights in the opposition party have now joined the PDP family.
Adeleke who was represented by the Deputy Minority Leader of the Senate, Akogun Lere Oyewumi, noted that the new members joined willingly with personal conviction after seeing the good work in all areas in the state by Governor Adeleke.

Some of the decampees noted that for 12 years running, there hasn’t been any form of development in Irewole LG until PDP came on board.
The deputy minority leader called on the new PDP members to work for the success of the rulling party across all levels in the state.
