Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of ondo state has urged youths, particularly members of the ruling All progressives congress to shun provocative statements, avoid violence and political intolerance ahead of the November 16 Governorship Election in the state.
Aiyedatiwa gave the advise while Inaugurating local government executives and 203 political ward coordinators in Akure, the state capital.
The Governor who was represented by his chief of protocol, Abayomi Olasanya said the aim of unveiling the movement is to mobilize support and canvassers for Aiyedatiwa in the 18 local government areas of the state, 203 political wards, and the entire polling units.
The governor also noted that the current APC led Government in the state will further encourage more youth participation in politics and Governance.
Some of the inaugurated members which include two serving Lawmakers say they will rally support for Aiyedatiwa given his welfare and people-oriented programmes including projects, which have brought sustainable development in the state.
