Cross River Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, has called on opposition parties in the state to play by the rules or taste the power of the new APC leader who connects with federal might.
Ayade stated this in Government House, Calabar when he received the APC state executives and stakeholders led by the Caretaker Chairman, Senator Mathew Mbu (Jnr).
He assured all the members of his new party about even distribution of positions, saying there was no new or old member of the party but one big APC family.

The Governor who announced the immediate appointment of 500 of the old APC members into his government warned that anyone who wants to foment trouble because of his new party position should be lawful or face the law.
Earlier in his remarks, the APC State Caretaker Chairman urged all members of the party to give maximum respect and support to their new leader in Cross River State.
Recall that Governor Ayade had on Thursday, defected to APC from his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP after a 2-hour meeting with some APC Governors.
