Governor Abubakar Bagudu has apologized to the people of Kebbi State for his shortcomings in the course of his eight years of governance.
His apology came few hours after President Buhari in similar manner sought the forgiveness of those he wronged in the course of his eight year tenure.

Bagudu acknowledged that the Eid celebration would be the last in his administration and that it was a normal occurrence to encounter mistakes as humans.
In an Eid El Fitri message to the people of the state, Bagudu expressed happiness that the people of the Kebbi state gave their unflinching support to the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship candidate, which resulted in securing victory at the polls for the ruling party.
Bagudu urged the people of Kebbi State to extend similar support and cooperation to the incoming administration, to strengthen the path of progress, for the betterment of all the inhabitants.
