Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has asked the leadership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, to do more towards changing the mindsets of the people, through massive enlightenment for the unity and progress of the country.

The Governor made the call when he received a Diamond Award for Excellent Service Delivery by the National President of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, held at the Bauchi State Government House.

The National President, supported by the chairman of the Diamond Anniversary Award Committee, Professor Emanuel Dandaura, said they were in Bauchi State, to honour Governor Bala Mohammed, in recognition of his outstanding performance, in the execution of various infrastructural projects, in both urban and rural communities.

Governor Bala Mohammed thanked and appreciated the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations for the recognition, saying the award would motivate him to do more, in delivering the dividends of democracy, to the people of Bauchi State.

The Governor used the occasion to call on members of the institute, to embark on an advocacy and enlightenment campaign towards changing the mindset and perception of the citizens, for the good of the country.

NIPR had earlier conferred the honour on the Emir Of Bauchi, Rilwanu Sulaiman, as a fellow of the institute, as well as awards presentations to some personalities, including the Managing Director of NEDC, Dr. Mohammed Alkali, and Dr. Andy Iheme, among others.
