Governor Ikpeazu charges Navy to uphold rule of law, ensure Democracy

Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has charged the Nigerian Navy to help in ensuring the success of the country’s democracy.

The Governor made the call during the combined graduation ceremony of student personnel of the Nigerian Navy College of Account and Finance, Owerrinta, Abia State.

Represented by the Commissioner for Homeland security, Sopuruchi Bekee, the Governor while charging the graduants to always uphold the rule of law in the discharge of their duties,assured of state government’s assistance to the Navy.

The Flag officer Commanding Naval Training Command, Monday Unurhiere, while saying that the Nigerian Navy has competent workforce, reiterated the importance of training and retraining of officers in the force.

A total of ninety seven officers graduated from different courses which include Officers basic course, Petty officer qualifying course, Leading hand qualifying course and Basic qualifying course.
