Governor Seyi Makinde and former governor Ayo Fayose have promised to accept the outcome of the ongoing Zonal Congress in Osogbo.
The two leaders who addressed delegates before the commencement of the voting described the election as a family affair, stressing that the outcome will not divide the party in the southwest.
In his address, Fayose declared that the Governor of Oyo state who is the only governor in the region remains the leader of the party and he would accord him the deserve respect as he promise to work with whoever emerges the winners of the contest
Oyo state governor also assured the delegates of his readiness to continue to promote the unity of the party, stressing that PDP is not holding the Congress to defeat itself but to defeat the opposition APC.
