The Zamfara State Governor, Bello Mohammed has directed the company handling the construction work of Gusau township roads, to ensure the completion of all roads, in the next three months.
Governor Mohammed who stated this during an inspection tour of ongoing construction road projects in the state capital initiated by his administration urged residents of Zamfara State to avoid building structures on waterways to prevent damages during the rainy season.
Some of the roads inspected by the Governor, includes, Tashar Magami – Yar-Dantsi Road, Fira da Kwadi-COCIN Kwano Road, and the Unguwar Yarima road.
The governor further reiterated his administration’s resolve, to provide more social amenities to the citizens, including good roads, for both the rural and urban areas.
The Commissioner for Works and Transport, Ibrahim Mayana, informed Governor Bello Mohammed, that all Gusau township roads have reached advanced stages of completion, and assured that some would be completed in February.
