Governor Mohammed swears in 4 new LG bosses in Bauchi

Bauchi State Government says arrangements are in top gear to conduct local government elections in the state.

Governor Bala Mohammed made this known when he swore in four newly appointed caretaker chairmen in the state.

Darazo, Kirfi, Ningi, and Tafawa Balewa are the designated areas that the newly sworn in caretaker chairmen will serve.

Governor Mohammed, speaking further at the event, said the state will soon conduct its local government elections.

He asked the newly sworn in local government chiefs to respect and be transparent to their subordinates.

The Governor assured that he will continue to support the people at the grassroots.

Governor Mohammed used the opportunity to thank the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and all those who had supported the state so far.
