Edo State Governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Godwin Obaseki says his administration is committed to completing the Gelegele seaport project and providing adequate infrastructure in the coastal area to better the lots of the people of the community
The Governor stated this while inspecting facilities at the port in Ovia North East local government area of Edo state
The inspection of the Gelegele seaport by Governor Godwin Obaseki and top leaders of the peoples Democratic Party was a continuation of the Governor’s campaign tour to Ovia North East local government area.

While inspecting the various facilities and security apparatus put in place by the state Government to police the water ways, the Governor promised to ensure speedy completion of the port project.
Governor Godwin Obaseki explained that the project when completed will open up commercial and economic activities in the communities on the coast of the Gelegele port.
The Governor also promised to address challenges of power supply and stop gas flaring in the community.
