Delta State Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa has commended delegates at the state congress of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for conducting themselves in an orderly manner, following the reelection of the Kinsley Esiso led immediate past executives.
Governor Okowa who gave the commendation after the state congress of the party in Asaba said the strength of the Peoples Democratic Party lies in its resolute to consensus building and peaceful resolution of issues The Delta State Chief Executive urged party faithful not to allow themselves to be distracted by the antics of the opposition in the state
He applauded the immediate past executives of the party for steering the party to greater heights and charges them to do more.

The congress which was conducted by a team of party officials from Abuja led by Lawrence Ezenwa and supervised by the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, had 2,803 delegates in attendance.
