Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo says under his watch as governor of the state criminals will not be allowed to get away with murder or disrupt the relative peace in the State.
Governor Okpebholo made this known while swearing in new appointees at a ceremony held in Government House, Benin City.
The newly sworn-in appointees include Emmanuel Okoebor, Commissioner for Finance, Paddy Iyamu, as Chairman of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), and a retired Commissioner of Police, Friday Ibadin, as Coordinator, Edo Security Network.
Governor Okpebholo charged them to use their positions to uplift the State.
The new Finance commissioner, Okoebor, who spoke on behalf of others, assured the Governor and the people of Edo State that they are committed to assisting him in realizing his five-point development agenda.
