The trading of words between the Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom and his Bauchi State counterpart Bala Mohammed has continued to rage with Ortom suspecting Mohammed of being part of the dreaded terrorist groups attacking the country.
Governor Ortom who was called out by his Bauchi State counterpart Bala Mohammed stated this in Makurdi, the state capital while addressing newsmen.
He urged Mohammed to go back and rehearse the oath of office he took to defend his people against the said terrorists.

The grave insecurity concerns in parts of the country has continued to generate reaction and counter reaction with prominent personalities at each other’s throats.
Ortom, reacting to the grave insecurity in the country maintained that there is no place for kidnappers or armed herders in his State, stressing that anyone who wants to go contrary to the laws of the land should relocate to Bauchi state.
Ortom urged the Bauchi State Governor to take a cue from his Kano and Kaduna counterpart as well as scholars of fulani extraction who are totally against the activities of the said terrorists herdsmen.
The Benue State Chief Executive also expressed concerned about the hundreds of thousands of displaced children who are out of school in the state.
