Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel has appointed the Commissioner for Works, Ephraim Inyang-Eyen as his Chief of Staff.
The appointment is his first such appointment in five years.
The state Commissioner for Information, Charles Udoh, who made this known to newsmen in Uyo, the state capital after the State Executive Council meeting, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
He added that Inyang-Eyen will also supervise the Ministry of Works until a substantive Commissioner for Works is appointed.
