Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu state, has assured the people of the state of the commitment of his administration to the economic growth of the state.
Governor Ugwuanyi, who gave the assurance when he commissioned 13kilometre Nike Lake – Amorji Emene By-Pass Road in Enugu East Local Government Area said the road will not only reduce traffic congestion in Enugu metropolis but also add values to the economic growth of the state.
The 13-kilometre road which cuts across various communities within the local government is a relief to farmers, who in the past found it difficult to transport farm produce to neighbouring villages and towns.

Governor Ugwuanyi further stated that the road will also serve as a a link to the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
