Akwa Ibom state governor, Umo Eno has approved a review of imprests, security votes, and constituency projects.
Governor Eno disclosed this at a workshop for councillors in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital.
For two days, councillors in Akwa Ibom state went through an intensive capacity building workshop at the Ibom Leadership Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Uyo.
The theme was “ Enhancing Legislative Effectiveness For Grassroots Development” and Governor Umo Eno, while highlighting the critical role the councillors play in local government administration, announced improved packages for them.

Governor Eno called on the councillors to have total control of happenings at the grassroots.
Organizers of the event were grateful to the governor for supporting the workshop
The high point of the event was a vote of confidence passed on the governor by the councillors and an endorsement of his re-election bid.
