The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has appointed the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike as Chairman of Edo State Governorship Election National Campaign Council.

The council which will lead the reelection campaign of Governor Godwin Obaseki and his Deputy Philip Shuaibu has the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri as Deputy Chairman.
