Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Zulum, has felicitated with Christians in the state on the occasion of Easter.
Zulum, in a statement by his spokesman, Isa Gusau, also said he is very proud of Christians and Muslims in the state, for maintaining peaceful coexistence in all the 27 Local Government Areas of the state, despite being faced with all manners of inciting tactics, deployed by those who wished to knock heads together.
He thanked and commended the traditional rulers, elders and religious leaders of both faiths, for being role models for the younger ones.
Zulum urged the residents to continue to do whatever is possible to nurture and preserve the precious harmony in the state.
He said, government is working behind the scene to find lasting end to the Boko Haram insurgency.
Governor Zulum also commended the armed forces, the Multinational Joint Task Force, the volunteers in the Civilian JTF, hunters and vigilantes, for their sacrifices towards finding peace in Borno.

Zulum also prayed to God to grant enduring peace in Borno, other parts of the Northeast and the rest of Nigeria.
