The APC National Youth Vanguard, has drawn the attention of Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, of activities of one Haruna Alfa who is moving from states to states to extort money from party leaders and stakeholders under the name of APC National Youth Vanguard.
A statement signed by the National Secretary of the group, Comr Bashir Muhammad Bello said “the impersonation activity of Haruna Alfa and his group has been reported to the national secretariat of the party via a letter dated June 15th, 2021 with an acknowledgment copy dated June 17th, 2021″.

It said” Our attention has been drowned to an event tagged “AWARD and inaugurating of state executive council of APC NATIONAL YOUTH VANGUARD being organised by one Haruna Alfa and his co travelers scheduled to takes place tomorrow 30th of October in Kano . The event “is purportedly being organised under the name of APC National Youth Vanguard – a clear case of impersonation by Haruna Alfa and his ‘greedy cohorts”
The statement emphasis that the authentic APC national youth Vanguard has never and will never mix party activities with money seeking events like an award as being promoted by the fake version of APC national youth Vanguard.
The statement further noted that its core mandate is to mobilise support and contributes ideas to move the party and the nation forward.
The statement said our worries is that “the said Haruna Alfa is purportedly operating under the office of CTC, APC National Youth Leader contrary to the rules and regulations guiding the registration and recognition of APC Support Groups.
The registered & recognized Jibrilla Gadzama lead APC National Youth Vanguard said they are duly registered as a support group of the ruling All Progressives Congress as contained in letter dated January 29th, 2015.
It said the letter was signed by the then National Secretary of the party Mal. Mala Buni who is the current caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress.
