A political support group known as “Ovat 2023” has called on Nigerians to support it’s Principal, Chief Ovat Ayabom in his presidential bid.

In a statement released to the press, the group bemoaned what it described as failure of leadership in Nigeria in the last 8 years and warned that another 8 years of similar leadership may signal the political numc dimittis for Nigeria.

On why they believe their Principal is the right man for the job, the convener of the group said;

“Chief Ovat Ayabom is pragmatic, energetic, focused and determined to deliver the dividends of democracy to all Nigerians irrespective of ethnicity, religion or political affiliation.

“We are convinced that Chief Ovat Ayabom is the right man for the job Going by his leadership prowess, wealth of experience in the political terrain and we are convinced that if he gets the nod to become the President of our great Nation, he will create the enabling business environment for SMEs to thrive, youth empowerments, poverty reduction, infrastructural development and offset our national debts by creatively managing the resources and cutting cost of governance.

On the chances of Chief Ovat getting the PDP ticket, the group said;

” We are already consulting our party leaders across the length and breath of the country with the aim to make them see reasons why our principal is the best fit for the position come 2023.
“He is young, experienced, highly networked both in the business world and in the political world, he is a goal getter and represents the new ideas of what modern politics is. His developmental projects cut across the six geopolitical zones and in many ways have improved the quality of lives of the host communities.

“He has shown an exemplary standing in the provision of jobs, skills acquisition for youths and philanthropic activities. All these speak for him as he he strives to get the ticket of the party.
